With the first one, they were premade nappies (white cotton squares) but with the second one I used an old candy-stripe cotton sheet, cut into squares. We did have liners sometimes. Mind you, that was 40-odd years ago.

Hi, Melvin, check with your local venue about what is allowed. Water bottles and a few snacks used to be allowed at a lot of these events but policies have changed at a lot of the venues.

She’s putting in the referral for the babies’ pt. appointments with the lactation nurse tomorrow and hopefully referrals for that after I tell her my concerns. Can’t tell you thank you enough!!!

Comment on Bohemian Wilderness Themed Baby & Toddler Shared Room by Shari Stamps https://www.navigatingparenthood.com/bohemian-wilderness-shared-room/#comment-18560 https://www.navigatingparenthood.com/?p=9801#comment-18560 In reply to Rebecca.

This really was a cute room, thanks! It worked out really well since they were a tot and infant at the time. Toys were stored in baskets in the closet and under the bed (some of which you can see in this post’s photos). Books went on the shelf near the door (also shown). Most importantly, not all of their things were in this room. The kids had a few baskets of toys/books in the living room as well (I try to keep things they can play with in every room they will be in usually). They also didn’t have/need a TON of stuff. Now that they’re 3 and 5 they have a lot more things and separate rooms for their different things but I could still create a split space if needed.

What do u do with all their stuff? Toys, books, toys? It doesn’t seem realistic to me.

I need to pick more apples. I’ll have to check out some local apple farms in the future.

Hi, Ana, the crib used in the Pinterest image? I’m not sure about the green crib or the one showing a mom next to it but the two other white cribs shown in the pictures (floral room and geo painted wall room) are from Babyletto.

My sister is about to give birth. I’ll have to get some toys for the kid.
